Summer Fun – A Post by D.R. Graham

Hi Everyone! My name is Danielle and I write both young adult and new adult novels. Britannia Beach is my new young adult sweet romance series. The first two books released with HarperCollins this summer. Book three releases in October and to celebrate Aimee at HelloChickLit invited me to share one of my favourite summer spots in British Columbia Canada, which also happens to be the setting for Britannia Beach.

Britannia Beach is set against the backdrop of the stunning Sea-to-Sky corridor between Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler British Columbia. The area is known as the outdoor adventure capital of Canada. World renowned for skiing, hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, and rock climbing, it’s motto is ‘Hardwired for Adventure’.

The wilderness is beautiful all-year round and my favourite activities are hiking, snowshoeing, and kayaking. You should all visit (watch this to see why: , but in the meantime you’ll have to read all about Derian and Trevor’s adventures in Put It Out There, What Are The Chances? and And Then What?

Here are a few shots of me exploring the setting of the Britannia Beach series.

About her Books:

BB Releases July 2016

Returning home to Britannia Beach a year after her life was shattered is bittersweet for Derian Lafleur. Although some things settle back into place, others don’t click like they used to…especially her friendship with Trevor Maverty.
Derian suddenly wishes the boy next door would see her as more than just a kid sister type. She tries to be everything she thinks he’s looking for― bolder, more experienced – but is that who she wants to be?
With the fate of her family’s historic inn on the line and Trevor making life more complicated by the day, Derian struggles to manage her unexpected feelings, and deal with a past she’s not quite ready to leave behind.
